These are the most common questions our boudoir clients have before booking a session with us.

How does it work?

We have a whole blog dedicated to how to prepare,  here.

How much does it cost?

You'll spend a minimum of $1,200 for our signature boudoir shoot, including your boudoir photography session and our entry product item. Most clients invest about $2,100 (excluding sales tax) in their boudoir session and products. We have affordable package options begining at  $500. Give us a call!

I think I'm too fat, old, flat, scared....

My clients range from the 20-something bride to the 60-something professional woman. Many of our clients are moms, or thinking about having children. We've photographed women from size 0 to size 22, women who are large brested or less pronounced (including breast cancer survivors), big butts, no butt, stretch marks, cellulite, scars, red wine birthmarks and wrinkles. In other words, we photograph everyday women and make them look and feel like models.

Whatever you believe you're lacking, or have too much of, you are perfect for a boudoir session. In fact, once you see your finished pictures, you may just let go of some of those inhibitions and feel empowered!

Do you offer Couples boudoir?

Yes! Couples boudoir sessions work a little differently.  Please feel free to contact us for details!

Do you 'Photoshop' my photos?

Every photo in your gallery will be retouched to some extent. Common edits include making sure whites look white, correcting exposure, brightness and contrast, removing blemishes, softening skin (since my digital camera picks up things that aren't visible to the naked eye), cleaning up undereye circles and smoothing bumps caused by clothing. We don't do Photoshop plastic surgery, remove your skin texture or make you look 10 years younger. Our professional editor retouches with a light hand so you look natural, refreshed and like just yourself.

Will my boudoir photos be on the Internet?

We take your privacy seriously.  Every photo on our website is being used with written permission from the people in the pictures. Your photos will remain private unless you've given us explicite written permission to share.  You can read our privacy policy for more information.

How many outfits are included?

Depending on your Boudoir Session length, you'll have between 1 & 3 outfit changes. Outfits can be regular clothing, lingerie, white sheets or fine art nude. You can add more outfits for $100 each.

Do I provide my outfits?

We give you guidance on what to wear to best flatter your body type and create the mood and look you want. You bring your own lingerie, outfits, shoes and accessories to your session, and then we collaborate on your styling for each look. We do have a small in-house wardrobe closet to mix and match.

Who does my hair and makeup?

Professional hairstyling, makeup application and false eyelashes are complimentary with your Boudoir Session. we use only licensed hair and makeup artists. Your luxurious makeover gives you time to relax and feel pampered.

Can I bring A friend to my boudoir shoot?

YES!  The more the merrier!  We want you to feel relaxed and comfortable. You're welcome to bring a friend, family member or your partner. Just make sure the person you bring is going to be your cheerleader.

When do you offer sessions? How long do they last?

Boudoir Sessions are available on Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 10am.  Plan to be here for a half-day (this includes wardrobe styling, hair and makeup, and on-camera time.)

What types of products do you offer?

You may purchase your portraits images a la carte or via one of our packages. You can decide from digitally (delivered via a classy, acrylic flash drive) or printed in an album or art prints for your desk and/or wall. Most purchase an album, a piece of desktop art and fine art wall prints.

When do I get to see my photographs?

About 1 week after your session, you'll return to the Nequim studio for your reveal and ordering appointment. You'll see your photos in a slideshow, then you'll  pick your favorites! You'll need to finalize your order at this session.

I'm doing this for a special occasion.

How much lead time do I need?

We prefer to shoot Boudoir Sessions at least 4 weeks before the date you need your finished product.  This gives us plenty of time between editing, proofing and product delivery.
